Right to work checks changed on 1 October and plenty of businesses haven't noticed yet.
The checks no longer stop at employees. If you use contractors, subcontractors, casual workers or people booked through online platforms, you may now be responsible for checking their right to work too. Get it wrong and the civil penalty is up to £60,000 per illegal worker.
Karen Kaur of Kore Consulting will explain what has changed, which of your working arrangements are now caught, and the practical steps to keep your organisation compliant. There will be time for your questions at the end.
